Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear HICON readers,
Old friends of EBNER and dear colleagues:

‘Driving Green Technology’ is the vision of the EBNER Group, driving us to develop green technologies that help our customers achieve their sustainability goals.

Inspired by this vision, EBNER has conducted intensive research and development and developed a revolutionary new heating method for bell annealing furnaces. This innovative technology, which will be unveiled at the global launch event on November 13th this year at our headquarters in Leonting, is characterized by its outstanding energy efficiency and extremely low emissions.

However, this technology is not our only development: At the upcoming Aluminium Show in Düsseldorf, our digitalization team will present a tool that helps customers achieve the climate goals set by the European Union.

We are also committed to implementing sustainability in our own facilities. Photovoltaic projects have been successfully implemented at our plants in Taicang, China and Wadsworth, USA, and our headquarters in Leonting, Austria, is currently installing its own photovoltaic system.

All in all, all companies in the EBNER Group make significant contributions to green technology, for example, from plasma burner technology to carbon-neutral heating processes from TPS, twin-belt casting technology from Hazelett and multi-chamber furnaces from Gautschi.

This issue of HICON® magazine focuses on green technology and also contains several examples of sustainable development.
