Careful cultivation and perseverance - On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of EBNER China

After China joined the WTO in 2001, the EBNER family anticipated the development of the Chinese market in time and decided to invest in China.

On August 22, 2001, the leaders of the Development Zone obtained the business license for us from the Industrial and Commercial Bureau and personally delivered it to our temporary office rented in Xiangtang Building on Chaoyang Road. That was the beginning of EBNER China, the beginning of zero.

Today, EBNER Taicang has five companies: EBNER Industrial Furnaces, EBNER Trading, AIT Industrial Furnaces, Gaoqi Industrial Equipment and Hazlet Trading. The number of employees is nearly 250, representing six well-known industrial furnace business brands in the field of metal heat treatment.

At present, EBNER China's factory in Taicang is located at No. 82 Beijing East Road, covering an area of 100 acres, of which the factory area is 40,000 square meters. Among the 250 employees, about 2/3 are technicians and engineers, and about 60% of them have worked at EBNER for more than 10 years.

New strategic goals

In the past 20 years, crises have continued: SARS in 2003, the global financial crisis in 2008, the Sino-US trade war that began in 2018, and the coronavirus pandemic that began in 2020.

The huge impact of the Sino-US trade war and the sudden outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic on our business under the background of anti-globalization thinking has forced us to make adjustments at a strategic level.

In line with this strategic adjustment, in recent years, we have been working hard to develop and cultivate independent products suitable for the Chinese market, such as hot forming heating furnaces, while striving to maintain the export market.

For a long time, our business has mainly been the supporting production of complete sets of equipment led by the headquarters, and the main body of the business is the headquarters.

However, the hot forming heating furnace used in the Chinese automotive market is an exception.

Due to market reasons, all hot forming heating furnaces in the Chinese market are dominated by EBNER China, including product marketing, design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and production, as well as improvement, adaptation and development.

Our success is obvious. So far, we have successfully sold 23 hot forming heating furnaces, which support about half of EBNER China's manufacturing volume.

We have selected bell furnaces and aluminum strip continuous annealing furnaces FAST as our next batch of independent products. We are investing a lot of manpower and material resources to develop products, optimize cost structure, and independently develop the market.

This is the company I have served for the past 20 years, and this is what I have observed and experienced over the past 20 years: it is dedicated to long-term intensive cultivation in a specific field, persevering and pursuing long-term goals; it always maintains awe of the market, recognizes changes, actively responds to changes, keeps up with trends, continuously innovates, and pursues excellence in the market segment. This is also the basic concept and basic principle that I uphold in my career.
